New SecondLife Adventures
I ran into one of those Bane creatures last week while walking around Sin Labs. Can you believe it tried to wave at me? The gall.

Last night I transformed myself into the figurehead of a small ship, and gave a ride to a party of five. Unfortunately there wasn't a lot of water around, so eventually I just took to the sky and floated above the rooftops. The ride came to a stop in someone's swimming pool.

Heh. Seems that someone's missing the point of being a Bane.

I'm finding there's little difference between SL and dream logic.

I saw a Bane creature over at Doll Works who was wearing a pink wig and fairy wings over its uniform. My brain nearly exploded.

I assume you mean the Bane, not the awesome boat. ;-)

The Eudeamon (http://www.evil-dolly.com/txt/Eudeamon.htm) story.

Technically, noticing the bane waved at you gets you into trouble ... it's fun for Banes to see if they can provoke a reaction from people :)

Most amusing sight? Watch a Sentinel and a bane have a staring match ...

I'm pretty sure just noticing a Bane doesn't get you in trouble, only harassing a Bane. The Bane would be the one in greater trouble for waving (pre-Eudeamon) for getting to close to people.

They're from an online story called "Eudeamon."

For those of you who haven't read "Eudaemon", you should do whatever you can to find time for it as soon as possible. (It's at http://www.evil-dolly.com/txt/Eudeamon.htm , as mentioned earlier).

It's a hauntingly beautiful novel which was so captivating I read it at one setting. The theme of the novel changes as it progresses, starting out as an investigative journalist trying to uncover the dirty laundry behind the whole "banishment" process (in which criminals are forced to wear latex body suits and helmets for their duration of their sentences), and it turns into something much, much more.

My online Mistress at the time had read the story and loved it so much she went through the banishment process herself for 30 hours. She made sure I read it very soon after she collared me, and for the rest of our wonderful relationship (I still love her greatly, even though I have moved to real-life slavery), she considered me to be her Eudaemon, and we called ourselves "Brianca/Wind" collectively.

You'll understand what that means when you read the novel. *sighs softly in gentle recollection*

Blushing fan girl!!!

I haven't been on SecondLife much in the last six months because of my pursuit of becoming a full-time real-life slave. My Mistress let me get on the other night, though, and who should I encounter in DollWorks?

K-8 (a.k.a. Kate Battery)!

Once I realized who it was, did I say anything intelligent? Nope. I suffered a horrible transformation. I instantly became a blushing, tongue-tied fangirl who couldn't utter much of anything but "Holy cats! I love your blog!!! I can't believe you're K-8!"

(By the way, in case you're wondering, I was the wooden ballerina marionette named Wilma Sorbet ...)

I'm still embarrassed! *sighs and grins* With any luck, the next time I meet her, I'll be a little less like a slack-jawed yokel with my conversational skills. *chuckles*

If anybody's interested (Hint! Hint!) I'm writing up my own experiences with being a slave in my own blog at The Daily Life of a Consensual Slave (http://wolfslavegirl.blogspot.com) . Today's post tells about how I finally realized yesterday that I don't enjoy ASFR subculture because I'm a slave at heart, but instead I'm a slave because for some reason I feel I'm an object at heart. A toy in a human body. A coin-operated girl.

I expect I'll have future revelations to come as I continue to seek introspection. Wish me luck!

*smiles and bounces gently as she sways in her strings*
