I meant to post a photo of the Beyonce-bot suit at the end of the previous entry, but ran out of time before work:

It's a nice design when fully closed, but would've been better as an actual suit. ;-)

I should mention that I was made aware of the existence of this suit and the photos via Doll's Realm, and similarly discovered the Kylie-bot video after reading a comment in said blog.

Asudem has also made a bunch of great mannequin-esque finds recently.

First there's a set of photos featured on a site that appears to be in Russian (maybe?), that has a number of photos of people digitally altered to look like they have plastic bodies. Some are missing arms or legs (or both), but oddly they have no mannequin joints... ;-P

If the photo above one were separated into three different "panels," it could make for a nice transformation sequence. ;-)

Next, there's a photographer who's done a series with people similarly digitally altered to give them Barbie doll-like joints. Check out his Artist Statement for the series...it sounds just like the sort of think *I* might've rambled off the top of my head in college as an excuse to turn people into plastic figures, lol.

And then we have this, available on Ebay as a set of three:

If the price were right, I might actually be tempted to get one of these sets. The important question of course being, would they be large enough that they could fit easily on someone's face as a mask, if you trimmed off the excess below the neck... ;-)
