Welcome Message And Introduction

Hello, I am known as K-8 (aka "conscious_object"). Here I keep a fetish blog with a (skewed) sense of humor. Contained herein you will find my various random thoughts on my unique fetishes, and interesting finds culled from all over the intarweb, including art by my friends, and sometimes my own art.

Halloween Play Party

  • Nov. 3rd, 2009 at 10:27 PM
Still waiting on some photos before writing about the previous weekend, so here's what happened just this last weekend instead.

To be honest, I try to avoid going to parties or events two weekends in a row. I'm somewhat the introverted type, and social gatherings (i.e. anything involving a group of people hanging out and/or doing stuff) usually leave me feeling a little worn out afterwards, as opposed to energized or whatever. But I didn't hear about about this Halloween party after I'd already RSVPed for the other party, and this one sounded to interesting to pass up.

As I mentioned previously, the party was held at a hotel in a banquet room. One part of it was filled with tables to sit and eat, and then go through a doorway and you're in another room filled with various items to tie people to.

The theme of the party was "Medical Malpractice," so most people were dressed as kinky doctors, nurses, and patients. Though one creative group of people decided to focus on that second word, and went as malpractice lawyers.

But if you're brain works similarly to mine, your first thoughts were probably "casts!" and "straight jackets!" However, not knowing anyone local who does casts, and straight jackets being expensive, I was a little stuck as to what to do. Fortunately, a recently made friend knew of a nice woman who owns a leather straight jacket and would be at the party, and asked on my behalf if I could borrow it for the evening.

And so I got to spend several hours like this:

Vacuum Cube

  • Oct. 18th, 2009 at 1:42 PM
A week and a half ago there was a workshop/demo on the topic of latex, hosted by several key latex fetishists in the community, including the wonderful/intimidating Amanda Wildefyre. The description for the event also mentioned there would be a vacuum cube available, "for those who dare to try it." Oh, I dare!

The workshop was fantastic, and I learned all sorts of interesting things. For example, an inflatable armless latex jacket was demonstrated on one of the presenters. When I'd seen photos of these, I always thought the idea was silly..."so they're not able to use their arms, but they can still move them around inside this sort of balloon type thing their torso is encased in? No, it turns out the jacket has two layers of latex, the outer layer, and then an inner layer that says in contact with the person's skin. So when you inflate it, the outer layer expands, but the inner layer also expands a bit, making things all firm and cozy.

Additionally interesting, they demonstrated that if you touch a vibrator to the outside of the jacket, the person inside can feel the vibrations throughout the entire jacket. The presenter inside the jacket noted that, contrary to what you'd think would be the case, the vibrations are actually stronger when the vibrator is touched to an area where there is more air between the inner and outer layers of the jacket, rather than less.

Then she started getting a little distracted, and was having trouble adding much in the way of additional thoughts. ;-) Unfortunately from the angle I was sitting I couldn't see the expression on her face, but it sounded like she was enjoying herself. Amanda Wildefyre continued to talk about the jacket, while holding the vibrator in one of her hands all nonchalant, humorously pretending to ignore the noises the woman was making. Looked like fun, lol.

On an amusing but slightly awkward note: when I went to use the one-person rest room, I encountered an interesting surprise resulting from people using the room to change into latex outfits. I touched the door handle, and it was slippery with lube. Then I sit down on the seat, and it's slippery with lube. Oh my. o_O

Towards the end of the presentation, they decided to demonstrate several things they'd brought at once. On one side of the room was the vac cube, of course. On the other side, one of the other presenters was being transformed into a rubberdoll. The rubberdoll mask was very interesting. This particular one was very rigid, almost like a posture collar and hood in one. I guess when tightened, the feeling of the rubber pressing up against your face everywhere gives the effect that your skin has been melded with the rubber. Which would be pretty hot, feeling that and then looking in the mirror and seeing this (erotically) humiliating doll face looking back at you. I'm kind of bummed so many doll masks look...not as attractive as I'd like. I think the best would be a mask like that but resembles the head of a Barbie doll. That'd be fantastic.

But I know what you really want to hear about is the vac cube.

9/26/09 - Barn Party

  • Oct. 11th, 2009 at 6:53 PM
This play party was unique for me, aside from just taking place in a barn, in that it was the first play party where I've actually been played with. I was tied up at a previous party, but there was no play, just chilling out while bound. This time there was play, and it was kinda different having an audience, it was pretty fun.

I arrived in plain clothes, partly because I knew driving in my knew boots would not be very realistic, and also because I wasn't actually sure what I felt like wearing exactly, or if I'd feel like wearing anything fetish at all. I brought a bag with me that had the black outfit, and the ragdoll and silver zentai outfits from awhile back.

The barn contained various rigs to tie people to for scene-ing. The most interesting-looking was a suspension rig hanging from the ceiling. It looked like an oversize trapeze, a large triangle that cuffs could be fixed to, attached to a pulley at the ceiling allowing the height to be adjustable. Several of us tried out swinging on it a little. A friend pointed also out to me a ladder that went to a second level area without walls, that he thinks would be perfect for a puppet scene if some pullies and things were set up over there. Perhaps at another barn party we'll figure out how to make that happen.

After chit-chatting and hanging out for several hours, I was starting to feel a little more comfortable and at ease (social gatherings always make me a little nervous), and decided I'd give the outfit with the new boots a go. When I mentioned I'd brought a corset I was thinking of wearing, two girls I'd been chatting with both offered to help tighten it for me.

The Much Delayed Hypno Toy Post

  • Sep. 25th, 2009 at 11:57 PM
Meant to write this earlier, but things have been so busy. (Okay, so SL hasn't helped, either.) I admit I was putting it off a little because I knew it was going to be another long one. The following is essentially what could've been four or five different blog entries all mashed together into a single rambling monologue. Enjoy.

So after actively exploring hypnosis for awhile, I kind of lost interest in it for a period, for a number of reasons. I was still open to the idea of in-person hypnosis, since that's something I've not gotten to explore much as I'd like, but otherwise I just wasn't very interested anymore. Other than letting a friend trance me a few years ago when he was looking for people to practice non-erotic hypno on, I really hadn't bothered with any hypnosis for probably around four years or so.

However, a few things have changed since then. I still have zero interest in text hypnosis...but now webcams and mics are a lot more common. I even have both built right into my laptop. While in-person hypnosis is still preferable (feeling someone's touch while frozen in place is on my list of things I'd like to experience at some point), webcam hypnosis is the next best thing.

My recently renewed interest in hypnosis has been sparked by mainly by two people: Lex of the Hypno-Fantastico, and a long-time friend of mine who goes by the name the Enchanter.

First, Lex posted some hypno-induction videos to Youtube. I was still not entirely in a hypno mood, so I didn't try them right when came out. But I started to become a little more interested after seeing a couple videos posted by Jenniferj521 of her reactions to Lex's videos, followed by videos demonstrating the effects of some text trances emailed to her by Lex. (There were only two or three videos at the time, but now there are ten, with more continuing to be added every now and then.) I wouldn't have probably known about the vids, except that a few people IMed me a link. Including Lex himself, who offered that if I wanted to try his hypno vids and the results were favorable, he'd be willing to send me a customized one as well. However, I still hadn't had enough interest return that I felt like giving it a try just then, so I told him I'd give it some thought.

At about the same time, my friend Enchanter told me he'd been learning hypnosis and had found a local erotic hypno group, and we were discussing his recent successes. The idea came up of maybe trying some webcam hypno sometime in the near future. Not right away, as he wanted to get a few more in-person trances under his belt before he decided to try out the webcam thing, but now I was beginning to consider it a little more.

Earlier this month we started chatting about the idea more. I was finally feeling much more up for it, and we set a time for the weekend. In the meantime, I decided to give Lex's freeze/immobility video inductions a try.

If you're curious to give these a try for yourself and see how well you might take to them, here are the videos to watch (in this order):

1) 001 Hypnosis Induction

2) 002 Freeze / Immobility Post Hypnotics

3) 002 Freeze Test

The first file is sort of a primer, to hopefully make the second file work even more effectively. The second file gives you three variations on freeze triggers. The third file allows you to test the triggers to see how well it's worked.

Some of you will take to the trance very well. Some of you might have so-so results. Some of you might feel like it didn't work at all. Some people are simply more suggestible than others, for whatever reason.

So how well did it work on me? Click here to read about it, or try the videos above first if you'd like them to be a surprise )

Anyways, if you try the files, I'm curious how well they worked. Feel free to let me know in the comments here, if you don't mind sharing.

A few days later, Enchanter and I did the webcam thing. It was kind of awkward at first, because I'm not all that used to 'camming, and talking to my computer screen took some adjusting.

I was kind of nervous, mainly because I wasn't sure how well or how much of it was going to work, and I didn't want Enchanter to get all disheartened when a trance with only the third or so person he's put under ends up not working out the greatest. And at first, it almost seemed like disappointment was going to be inevitable. Firstly, I was a little distracted...I'd forgotten he was in a different time zone, and thought I had a whole hour still when he IMed me. It was also a little humid in my apartment, which was distracting...and the fan I brought into the room to help ended up being a little distracting in its own right, though less so.

Then the first couple attempts at induction sputtered out in different ways, which had me quickly dreading that this was just not going to work at all. It ranged from having a hard time hearing some of what he was saying due to quiet laptop speakers and/or a quiet mic, to having one of the bulbs in the room actually going out just near the beginning of another attempt. He changed up the induction each time, to try out different things (and perhaps so it wouldn't seem too predictable). The first time or two, I wasn't sure if the induction was really working all that well even. But at one point the induction got far enough along that when I could no longer make out most of what he was saying, because he'd started speaking more softly, it took me a few minutes to snap out of it enough to let him know I'd just missed most of what he'd said those last few minutes.

But eventually it did work. And it worked well enough that even though we were only planning to have hypno fun on some day during the weekend, when our schedules aligned, we ended up doing one right the next Monday as well. Thing is, I had so much thrown at me in those two days of trances, I'm having a hard time remembering everything that happened, let alone in what order or even which day it happened on. I probably should've blogged about it right afterwards, rather than several weeks after the fact. ;-) So I'm probably going to forget to mention a few things...maybe he'll comment below to add anything I've missed. Read All About The Triggers )

And I think that's all I have to say for now. Enchanter did manage to get some of the triggers to work in IM as well...but it's just not the same as being face to face (even if only via webcam), y'know what I mean?

More updates as they occur. ;-)

New Second Life Adventures: Restrained Life

  • Sep. 19th, 2009 at 12:42 AM
SL-case

So my friend asks me if I want to see this "evil tube." It looks to me more like the sort of plastic display tube you might store a collectable doll in, only larger. Once inside, I discover that the Restrained Life Viewer (RLV) makes things much more interesting. Not only am I not able to budge (I can only move my camera), but I also don't have access to my inventory and many other functions, including IM. If someone tries to IM me, instead I get a message telling me it was blocked. If I try to IM them back, they get the same. I can read and speak in local chat, but cannot see who is saying what.

I couldn't spend very long in there this morning, as I had to get to work. My friend set it for an hour, but I didn't see what the point was, I'd only be around for 20 minutes.

Much later in the evening I log back in. My friend isn't online, but lo and behold I discover...the timer picks up from right where it left off. Here I thought it continued to run while I was logged off.

This would've been pretty boring, and I would've just surfed the net while the timer ran down, but then another friend IMed me. I have to admit, it was pretty exciting having this friend trying really really hard to communicate with me, and having no idea where or how I might be stuck. If she could teleport to me, then we could chat...but my ability to send teleports is also inaccessible, and she had no way to find me. It turns out that sending notecards to a person works as a cheat, so she was able to communicate with me, but I couldn't send notecards in return (not being able to access inventory). This resulted in a hilarious conversation of yes or no questions, with my being told to send one blocked message for "yes," and two blocked messages for "no."

BTW, do any of you fellow SecondLifers recognize the robot skin in the image above? I'm trying to remember who made it, and where others might be able to get it.

Hypnotized

  • Sep. 7th, 2009 at 12:44 AM
Y'know, one thing I don't think I've ever talked about in my silly little blog here are my early explorations of hypnosis. So I thought I'd tell you about the first time I was ever successfully hypnotized.

I think I've been interested in hypnosis since the first moment I was aware of the concept, but what may've really heightened my interest was my first time seeing a stage hypnosis act in person. At my high school, they would hire one each year as part of the Homecoming Week festivities.

If you've ever been to one of these stage acts, you know the first thing they do is try a little test that the entire audience can participate in. This is so they can tell right off the bat who the most suggestible people in the audience are, since not everyone is equally suggestible to hypnosis. It's usually things like being asked to clasp your hands together, and discovering they are now locked together until the hypnotist says release, and a visualization one where you close your eyes and imagine a balloon tied to your wrist, which slowly causes your wrist to rise. This last one in particular is especially effective for the stage hypnotist, because generally the higher their hand is in the air, the more suggestible they likely are. In fact, its like they've already raised their hands to volunteer, which is why this is the last one he does before gathering volunteers.

I remember the first couple times I attended these acts, I was afraid to participate in these small test examples. This was partly out of fear that it would end up working and friends would somehow convince me to go up on stage, which I did not want to do. But also, just a general fear of losing control of myself and/or my inhibitions in front of a group of people. This may sound silly, but that's also the main reason I've never been interested in trying alcohol.

Anyways, a long story slightly less long, toward the end I finally worked up the courage to see if the audience participation bits would work on me. And what I discovered was...they didn't. At all. At first I thought maybe it was because I was up in the balcony, and maybe hypnosis had something to do with range from the hypnotist (which it doesn't, btw). At the very last school hypnotist act I attended, I sat down on the floor, closer to the stage, and tried it again. And nope, nothing.

For a long while, I was convinced I was simply unhypnotizable. The irony, having such a strong interest in being hypnotized, and being completely immune to it.

In college, I discovered a free-hypnosis-mp3s website that I hesitate to name, but it was called Warp My Mind. I decided to give these a go, to experiment further and figure out if maybe different techniques might work on me. The site had various different inductions, but none of which seemed to have any effect on me. For my test to see if it worked, I used a freeze trigger trance file, which was followed by an mp3 of him giving the trigger, followed by some silence and then a release trigger. But no induction seemed to work.

I started to wonder if maybe i was doing it wrong. People are supposed to forget the trance generally, aren't they? Maybe I'm listening *too* closely, and I'm supposed to sort of not listen to it consciously in order to let it sink into my subconscious. I tried falling asleep to induction files, letting files play while I slept, etc. Nothing. (In hindsight, I think it was just the sound of boredom in his voice kind of grating on me, and the background noise of cars driving by outside his window being extremely distracting.)

One day while reading up on instances of hypnosis not working for people, I came across one comment where someone said they'd had a partner who didn't at first seem effected by the hypnosis, but that if they said the trigger word several times in a row, rather than just once, it seemed to stick then. So I decided to try that.

I loaded up my trusty CD walkman with the disc of burned mp3s once again, and this time when he spoke the trigger word, I pressed the "back" button so that the word would repeat again.

"Nope, nothing." Back.

"Still nothing." Back.

"Again, nothing. Wait. Why am I not pressing the back button? I can't seem to get my finger to push it...whoa, I can't move!"

And that's the first time I ever got hypnosis to work. Of course, being as into "the struggle" as I am, I couldn't help but try to test myself to see if I could break out of it before the release trigger...which I did, after only 10 seconds or so. But after that, hypnosis became much easier, and I've had some pretty decent luck with several different people, including being once frozen in front of my monitor for around a half hour. But those are stories for another time.

Seconded

The following are items posted over on Doll's Realm that I liked so much, I just had to second their goodness.

- Check out this bondage sack by Simon O. It's so hot, I'm not even reposting the image. You will have to click, and be blown away by the hotness. Also, I'd love to spot someone actually out skiing in this outfit, which is practically only one step away from a superhero outfit.

- These boots. I think if I heard this sound coming from my own feet, I would be highly distracted. And I don't mean by just the sound.

- If an episode of a sitcom contains both a plot where the main character ends up posing as a wax figure of herself, and a scene at the end where her daughter ends up dressed a Barbie, do you think it might be safe to assume one of the writers may've had a thing for ASFR? ;-)

- I'm not normally into stories that involve a personality change that's permanent, but this one had me laughing by the end. "I am Mrs. DeChamps!!!" (Granted, I have an odd sense of humor.)

Not satisfied to settle for simply making solid, high-quality vac beds, Kink Engineering has begun exploring ideas for new, experimental forms for vac fun. Here are some images of the "Pythagoras," perfect for statue TF enthusiasts.

pyth8

pyth2 pyth1

All you'd need is for that clear panel to match the rest, and you could use it to turn people into temporary silver statues, transformed and completely immobile from the neck down. If you wanted to complete the effect, I suppose you could add a hood of matching material.

A Kink Engineering bed was offered as the prize in a vac bed-themed erotic fiction writing contest recently hosted by Gromet's. A reader informed me about it before the deadline was actually up, but I didn't bother entering because I'm not as good at stories as I am at art. And especially if transformation isn't involved. But if I'd seen that Fetish Kitsch demonstration video posted earlier, I think maybe I would've given it a shot. I have no idea what it would've been about...it probably would've been just two people acting out a Star Wars roleplay. "You make a fine decoration, Leia..."

Sealed Vacuum Bed

The people over at KinkEngineering.com build vac beds that have a system that allows the latex to remain air-tight even with the vacuum turned off. For those curious like myself to see it in action, the people at FetishKitsch.com recently put up a video on Youtube of themselves using one. (Hopefully Youtube won't nuke their channel again.)

Duct Tape Bondage

Here's an example of why I dislike navigation that is done completely in Flash. Instead of being able to give you a direct link, I have to tell you to this website, click on "Sundays are for Mummification," then click on the last little square at the bottom to start the video.

I was chatting with someone recently who said they enjoy transformation where a woman ends up looking completely genderless. This would be a good example of that, though that is not why I'm posting it. I'm posting it because the video is hot. ;-)

I think my favorite my favorite part is when the blindfold is removed. You can see her kinda go "ahh, it's bright!," except she can't cover her eyes with her hands, or talk for that matter. And how after the gas mask is put on, you can sort of see just from her eyes how floaty she is. :-)

A Few Additional Thoughts

  • Aug. 19th, 2009 at 8:08 PM
A few things I meant to mention in the previous entry in regards to the "one last random thought," but forgot in the rush to head back to work:

I wonder if anyone shares an experience similar to this. I remember the first time I saw Pulp Fiction, there's the scene with "The Gimp," and my reaction was "ewww! Who would be into something like that?" The irony, of course, being that I eventually discovered that I am who would be into that. Yet in the context of the scene in that film, I didn't recognize any of the potentially fun aspects of what was going on, only the disturbing, taboo side of it, which didn't appeal to me. The sad thing is that I might've been into zipper hoods, but any time I see them now I just think "ewww."
?
On the topic of dungeons, I don't know if anyone remembers Insex (now Hogtied, I think), but they're almost the definitive example of dungeonification. They have a lot of fun, interesting ideas (though often mixed with ideas that are a little too extreme for me), but one of their themes is that everything looks like it's in a grungy, scary dungeon. When this becomes almost humorous to me is when they bring latex into it. They've done a few vac bed scenes (thumbnails here and here, but I guess maybe vac beds look out of place, being too shiny and not grungy enough...so they add some splatters of rust-colored paint, and what looks like a tire-track of rust to make it look scarier. I know there are a lot of people who're into that look, and I'm not saying one preference is better than another...I was just amused seeing how a vac bed looks in such a setting.

Busy Day

  • Aug. 19th, 2009 at 10:05 AM
The Femcar presentation wasn't the only thing we did on Saturday (see previous entry). It was a very busy day. Firstly, there was the local munch on Friday evening. Then I joined some of the local friends I've made via that munch in a carpool up to the Cities for the Femcar thing. That was followed by an unrelated Twin Cities BDSM community potluck/picnic. Then after that was scheduled a big play party. The carpool left around 11am and arrived back around 1:30am...a very busy day.

Do you ever have one of those days where you wonder if you're going senile a little early? I swear... I set my alarm for an hour and a half before I needed to be at the carpool, to start getting ready, and still somehow ended up 15 minutes late. Then, when we stopped at a gas station early on, I nearly got into the wrong van on the way out. And when the carpool returned late that night, I discovered that I'd left my lights on and my battery had died. Was I just tired that morning, or what?

(What's even worse, when I opened the door to the wrong van, the guys behind the wheel's reaction wasn't "uh, hello?" but a creepy "come in." And the guy standing outside that he was talking to, when I quickly retreated to the correct van, started talking about how much money the guy in the van has? WTF? Keep in mind, I wasn't even dressed remotely fetishy, it was all street-wear -- jeans and a long t-shirt -- WTF?)

But the day went well overall. Any day that ends with me getting tied up for awhile is a good day in my book.

After the Femcar demo, one of the friends I rode up with was asking what I thought of an idea for an objectification scene he was trying to work out: human pinata. I know, it doesn't sound like a good idea at first, but stay with me here. There's a few ways someone could go about it. The typical S&M version, of course, would be simply suspending someone, and letting some Doms have fun with a cane. I'm sure someone out there would like that idea.

My friend's idea, however, was that maybe the person is suspended and then has some sort of bag or something hanging from them which could be broken open. I started pondering the idea, and thought it could go a few steps further: why not encase someone in paper machet just before, like build it around them, so that they pretty much have to be broken out of it? The only thing not encased would be their head sticking out. And then the body could look more pinata-esque, including additional empty space in the stomach region which could be filled with candy or what have you and be broke open. Rigging the whole thing to be suspended would be a whole other issue, that I am not expert enough to work out the details of, but I think the idea could have potential. Though clearly this wouldn't be a version of the game that involved blindfolds (unless I suppose the pinata wanted to wear one).

What was a little disappointing is that the Femcar demo wasn't as well attended as, say, the picnic. I'm not sure if it was the bowling thing, or if there just aren't that many people curious about objectification, or what. I heard several people say it was just too many events in the same day. Which I didn't mind, personally, because if I'm in the area it's nice to have a lot going on. But I can understand, I suppose. Oddly, the bondage-focused group in the area appeared to have scheduled their munch for the same time as the demo. You'd think a presentation that promised to have at least some Gord content would interest the bondage group enough to cancel the munch and go to that instead. *shrugs*

The play party afterwards was interesting. Because there were so many people signed up, they decided to split it up into three locations. And in an effort to try and get the regulars to meet new people, they sort of randomized who was going to go to each one (you could ask for up to three friends to be with you, in case you were, say, carpooling like us). It was kind of amusing hearing people comment "wow, so many people I've never seen before," where I'm so new I didn't really notice a difference anyways. ;-)

It turns out at least one of the other people there was into rigging bondage in the same way that I'm into being bound, without impact play being required to have fun. So at the very end of the night, I got tied up a little for awhile, in a sitting position (requested because my legs were tired from so much standing at the picnic). He went upstairs for a little bit at one point to talk to his ride, while I chatted with one of the friends I rode up with. I could tell just from how it felt that I wouldn't be able to get out of the tie on my upper body without help, but my friend noted that the rope on my legs seemed a little loose. I had nothing else better to do, lol, so I started trying to wiggle my way out of the ropes around my legs. And did manage it, before the rigger friend came back downstairs. Uh oh, lol. Though by then my wrists were starting to feel a little sore, so the friend I was chatting with had started to untie that for me.

One last random thought: dungeons. We all know I'm not your typical BDSMer, and one of the times I'm made most aware of how different my thought processes are is when it comes to dungeons. The main difference is just that, while many BDSMers love to embrace the darker, taboo aspect of BDSM, I've never really viewed kinky fun in the same way. If anything, I tend to see humor in my kinks, and have a playful attitude towards it all. (Though maybe there's just not a lot of humor to be found in S&M, with the pain and the hitting and the sometimes blood?)

I just have weird thoughts sometimes when I enter a dungeon, about what my style of dungeon would be. First of all, I wouldn't call it a "dungeon," because I don't view it as a place of torture. I think I'd call it a lab. Like a place where a mad scientist works. Take Gord for example: I don't think I've ever seen a dungeon in any of his images, just a workshop. And the only way I could think to describe him is as "the mad scientist of bondage." I imagine every device he creates starts with the question "hm, I wonder if a woman could be used in *this* manner," and then proceeds with his crazed experiments.

Also, in the world of K-8 people would no longer call themselves Master Somethingsomething or Mistress Somethingsomething. Instead, they would all use the title "Doctor," like some sort of pulp villain. And dungeon music would now be things that sound like "Shine On You Crazy Diamond," instead of things that sound like "#1 Crush." "Welcome To The Machine" would work in cases where a compromise is required. So let it be written, so let it be done.

So do you have any crazy ideas for what sort of alternate "dungeon" you'd like to see?

An Afternoon With Femcar

  • Aug. 18th, 2009 at 9:17 PM
On Saturday I went up with some friends to a presentation on Objectification, hosted by Femcar (of House Of Gord fame). It was a very interesting experience to say the least.

She began the presentation by getting nude, and positioning herself behind a screen that images were being projected onto. She held the bottom of the screen up with her hands so that she was only visible from the waist down, looking sort of like a projection screen with legs. She remained completely silent, while someone else read from a stream-of-consciousness piece by Femcar.

After that introduction, she stepped out from behind the screen and began her presentation. The entire presentation was given while nude. I found myself imagining some sort of joke where the age old advice to imagine your audience in their underwear went horribly wrong. ;-) Slides continued to roll the entire time, and she'd switch off between talking about what objectification means to her, and elaborating on some of the things happening in the slides.

She made a point to state right from the start that this is merely her own personal journey, and that everyone's journey is different. What she enjoys might not be what someone else enjoys. Which I think is true of any kinky interest in general, not just objectification. But I'm glad she did make that clear from the start, because there are plenty of people in the BDSM community who maybe don't understand the appeal objectification, and it'd be giving people the wrong idea to say that everyone who's into objectification is into it in the same way as Femcar.

For example, my own interest in it is very different from Femcar's. Femcar is very much into humiliation and degradation, being a disposable object, whereas I think I like to be a little more cherished an object. ;-)

She's also much less "picky" than myself when it comes to scenes, and has much fewer limits. For one, she doesn't need for there to be bondage in order to enjoy objectification. She also enjoys getting dirty, including piss, scat, etc. She says as long as she feels objectified, she just about doesn't care what's done. And as long as she's being used, she feels objectified. Rather than a physical masochist, she considers herself an emotional masochist, while I myself am not much of a masochist at all.

She's also into some things that squick out even some of the most hardcore. You think flesh hooks or scarification is intense? Under A Cut For Those Who'd Rather Skip )

However, the Gord slides she showed were great. I think my favorite was where she was bound to a little cart, and made into a curb-side restaurant sign. An interesting I learned: it sounds those super-tight straps do actually get a bit uncomfortable. I guess I was in denial, hoping that maybe they were merely very secure while being quite comfortable, lol. Honestly, if I ever planned a trip to the Seattle area and decided to try out for Gord, I have a feeling I'd only discover that I was too much of a wimp, particularly since I go numb pretty easy when things get really tight.

Thing is, each Gord set was in between one of these none-bondage sets. It was a little frustrating, being turned on and then squicked out by every other set. ;-)

After the presentation, she took some questions. I wanted to ask one, but I'm so not good at coming up with how I want to phrase something on the spot. I'm the type of person who, a half hour later, is like "that's what I should've said!" Right before the demo I finally managed to stumble clumsily through some question wanting to hear her thoughts on consensual vs. nonconsensual objectification. She didn't have much time to elaborate, as it was nearly time for the demo.

The demo. In the description for the event, it mentioned that the demo would be objectification-style bowling, and that there would be a chance for audience participation. Now, I don't know about you, but if you're the same variety of crazy as me, you pictured people turned into human bowling pins, encased in some sort of foam that would keep them from getting hurt when tipped over, and some sort of giant rubber ball pushed down a lane into the pins.

However, before even signing up, I dug around for more details on what this demo entailed, and discovered that Femcar's variety of crazy is a little different than mine. Her idea was essentially water sports bowling. Plastic is laid down like a slip-n-slide, with regular pins set up at one end, and Femcar as the bowling ball. To make things slippery, piss is added, which is the audience participation portion. (Some sort of lubricant was also added, in order to make things thoroughly slippery enough.) But instead of running and sliding into the pins, Femcar is bowled down the lane. She lays on her back and curls up, and a bowler places one hand in the two holes at her bottom, and the other hand either in her mouth, or grabbing her hair (which seemed to be more effective), and launches her down the lane.

I was a little hesitant about whether I wanted to stay for this part, but I did end up watching (sitting a safe distance away). I was expecting it to really reek, but luckily it didn't really smell at all, at least from where I was sitting, about ten feet away.

About ten or twelve people bowled her. As things were winding down, someone suggested she try fucking one of the pins. She did manage to get the head of one of the pins inside herself, at least it looked like, and she attempted to get the head of another pin in her mouth (which didn't work so well). With the one pin in, she suddenly started orgasming, for I don't know how long. A few minutes. After she finishes, there's complete silence, everyone looking at her. She starts getting up a little, but still on her hands and knees, looks around, and says in a quiet, kind of groggy/sleepy but cute voice "so...are there any more bowlers?" Laughter and applause.

And that was pretty much the event. I wasn't into everything being shown, but I'm glad I went overall, if just for the experience.

Charmed - "Size Matters"

Some evil character is going around shrinking girls, covering them in a layer of clay, and putting them in a kiln to turn them into clay figurines. I'm not so much into shrinking, or the whole about to die horribly in an oven thing, but seeing the character stuck in hardening clay while waiting to be put in the kiln is pretty amusing. Fast forward to 1:10 for the start of the final act.

Can you guess my favorite line of the clip? ;-)

Forced Art

Imagine both your wrists are strapped to a machine. Pens are locked into your hands. And then you're forced to...draw?

Okay, not very kinky. But there has to be some bondage-esque application for this...because why even strap someone's hands into it when you could just have the machine hold the pens itself?

Perhaps if you had someone forced to draw something vaguely humiliating? But what?

Ideas brainstormed so far by "Utsumi" and myself:

- spice girls
- carrot top
- hello kitty
- hello kitty drawing pokemon
- a self-portrait modified to look like a clown
- a self-portrait modified to look like a mime
- a self-portrait modified to be wearing hello kitty items
- sparkly vampires

Or maybe further the bondage theme by being forced to draw a self-portrait modified to look like you're wearing a ball gag? There has to be some sort of kinky potential in this machine.

I was a little tied up the weekend before last. Y'know, in the literal sense.

june09-2.1

I think it'd been something like a year and a half since I last had an opportunity? Recently I've started to meet some kinky folks in the area. Fortunately, one kind individual mentioned he was looking for someone to practice some bondage on and would I be interested.

The idea was to try several simple bondage positions, and snap some pics. Bound to a chair, bound to a bed, etc. Unfortunately, the weather seemed out to complicate things. It was extremely humid that day, which intensifies my allergies. So my nose was running constantly, which isn't the most fun.

On the upside, I finally got to feel what a corset is like when its tied by someone other than yourself. I wasn't actually expecting how turned on I got from the tightness of it. Though trying to take a deep breath before a sneeze was...interesting.

I also finally got to see what vet wrap feels like. A lot stretchier than I realized, though you can also get it pretty tight and secure. Also, I did not realize you could breathe through it. Which means you can also talk through it, but that's what gags are for. I'm, of course, very curious what it'd feel like to be mummified in it.

june09-1.2

(If you're viewing this from a darker monitor, that is not a hood I'm wearing, just a big dot I added in Photoshop.)

I'm hoping we can have some more fun and photos in the future. Hopefully on a less muggy day. He's mentioned a desire to build a vac bed at some point, and you know there would end up being lots of pics of that. ;-)

Rob Thomas - "Her Diamonds"

I'm not usually very into the whole "frozen in ice" fetish, but this video has me very curious about the (what appears to be) molded plastic case they've got the actress sitting in.

Unfortunately, the only "behind the scenes" material available are a handful of video clips of Rob Thomas standing in front of a green screen (exciting!).

Bonus question: can you name the actress in the video? I didn't recognize her at first until I came across a blurb mentioning her name, and went "oh!"

Medusariffic #33 is up.

Because I am a massive dork, I would love to one day own vac bed with a custom frame similar to this:
