Welcome Message And Introduction

Hello, I am known as K-8 (aka "conscious_object"). Here I keep a fetish blog with a (skewed) sense of humor. Contained herein you will find my various random thoughts on my unique fetishes, and interesting finds culled from all over the intarweb, including art by my friends, and sometimes my own art.

Dollhouse Season Two

  • Oct. 11th, 2009 at 1:37 AM
For those who haven't been keeping up with season two of Dollhouse, I should tell you last night's episode involved a subplot where women were kidnapped and turned into forced living mannequins. Naturally, it was played up for extra creepiness in such a way that it didn't really light up the fetish fuel portion of my brain like it might've if, say, it didn't take place in some dark dungeon, and if Spoiler ).

But then, if I were playing with some of these concepts in a mainstream story, I'd probably ramp up the creepiness as well just so no one would suspect I might, say, have a fetish that could involve seeing actresses on set standing very still, looking like mannequins, and pretending they're stuck like that. Ya know.

A few lines this episode that amused me:

"He'll be an empty-headed robot walking around Hollywood. He'll be fine."

"We have names, remember that. We're human, we're not his toys."

Doesn't that last line sound like something right out of a story on LTBSA or something?

Anyways, on a totally not at all related note, it appears from the preview shown after the credits that next week we'll be getting a flashback story detailing the whole story of the evil mind control enthusiast who had Sierra turned into a doll. Have we surprised Totally Spies yet, or no?

Seconded

The following are items posted over on Doll's Realm that I liked so much, I just had to second their goodness.

- Check out this bondage sack by Simon O. It's so hot, I'm not even reposting the image. You will have to click, and be blown away by the hotness. Also, I'd love to spot someone actually out skiing in this outfit, which is practically only one step away from a superhero outfit.

- These boots. I think if I heard this sound coming from my own feet, I would be highly distracted. And I don't mean by just the sound.

- If an episode of a sitcom contains both a plot where the main character ends up posing as a wax figure of herself, and a scene at the end where her daughter ends up dressed a Barbie, do you think it might be safe to assume one of the writers may've had a thing for ASFR? ;-)

- I'm not normally into stories that involve a personality change that's permanent, but this one had me laughing by the end. "I am Mrs. DeChamps!!!" (Granted, I have an odd sense of humor.)

Oh, And One More

I've joked in the past that you could almost devote a whole blog just to instances of X-Men author Chris Claremont injecting his favorite fetishes into the stories he writes. However, I was wrong. You can actually devote a whole blog to any one of his fetishes, as just proven to me by the fittingly named ClarMindControl.

Did I Fall Asleep?

Someone asked if I'd post my thoughts on Joss Whedon's Dollhouse, but I'm not really sure what there is to say about it here. Other than to recommend it, on the basis of it being just plain good sci-fi. (Well, except for the first three episodes. Those ones weren't so good.)

Yeah, the show has mind control. And yeah, the mind controlled individuals are referred to as "dolls," and rented out to the wealthy. A concept that I'm sure sounds pretty hot to a number of you. Personally, it hasn't been setting off any of my kink sensors, beyond just being highly amused by how many shared fetishes it seems Whedon also picked up from reading Claremont X-Men stories as a kid (his Dr. Horrible includes a freeze-ray, and in the Buffy Season 8 comics Dawn has been cursed to transform into different things, including a doll).

But then I always get bored with mind control stories once the character's main personality no longer seems aware. And that's okay, because that's not the main reason for my following the series in anyways.

Although, in the most recent episode there was a scene that had me thinking back to my idea about a bondage-rigger bot... ;-)

But I'm actually kind of curious, whether any of you have found the show stimulating in a kinky way? Are any of you tuning in because it's like an ongoing MC story? Let me know.

By the way, if any of you have not seen the show but are thinking of giving it a try, via Hulu or wherever, do yourself a favor and skip right to episode four. You really won't be missing much (other than a lot of early show awkwardness). The only three plot points that I think might be helpful to know are:

1) A previous doll called "Alpha" went berzerk, killing much of the staff of the Dollhouse, including Echo's previous handler. One lab tech was spared, but her face left badly scarred. We have not yet been shown Alpha's face.

2) Certain phrases provoke certain reations from the dolls depending on who is saying it. For example, if their handler asks if they'd like to have their treatment, the doll wants to head back to the Dollhouse for debriefing/deprogramming.

3) A detective is trying to investigate the elusive Dollhouse, and track down the missing girl who is now Echo. His neighbor across the hall appears to have a crush on him.

And that's it, enjoy the show!

Last Night On Heroes

  • Oct. 14th, 2008 at 9:03 AM
Did you watch Heroes last night? If so, you probably know just the scene I'm talking about. ;-)

Basically, they introduced a new villain whose introductory scene is like a stock scenario from MCStories. I was laughing in disbelief while the scene was playing, lol.

If you didn't catch it, you can watch the full episode here. The scene in question begins around 37:00.

Claremont Fetish: X-Men #1-3

  • Sep. 30th, 2008 at 8:22 PM
Figured I should post this next, since a few people enquired after I mentioned it.

X-Men #1-3. The X-Men are battling Magneto and his Acolytes. The fight comes to an abrupt stop thanks to an Acolyte called Chrome. Guess what he does?

xm2-1

This is not the first time Claremont has statuefied an X-Man.

Perhaps seeing this is what gives Magneto the idea to do what he does with Moira MacTaggart. See, Magneto isn't very happy with Moira. Moira was entrusted with him when he was reduced to an infant for a period, during which she examined his genetic code, and discovered what might be responsible for his behaving like such a crazed maniac in adulthood. (And when ultimately reverted back into an adult, he wasn't aged back fully for some reason, which is why he appears so young in the comics for someone who's a Holocaust survivor...and that's just a mild example of how convoluted the X-Men got during the 90s).

Magneto is highly disturbed with the thought of someone tampering with the core of his being while in a vulnerable state, and makes Moira aware of this fact.

Totally Spies Week: Wednesday - Totally Dolls

  • Mar. 26th, 2008 at 10:46 AM
I wonder if a few people might be thinking: "Catgirls? Lizardgirls? Puppygirls? Mermaids? What happened to all the ASFR?" Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about you. ;-)

totallydolls

Not an actual transformation into dolls (unfortunately), but I thought it amusing enough to include anyways. Someone has been creating toys that are reverting the world's adults to the mindset of children. In order to infiltrate the factory, the girls find themselves going undercover as dolls. To make things more complicated, Sam (not Clover this time!) has been zapped into acting like a kid, requiring the other two to look after her.

"You're lucky I'm a fellow animal, or I'd make a purse and matching boots out of you!"

Not a physical transformation this time, but the mental transformation in this one very much reminds me of the humiliating-loss-of-control aspect of the April catgirl TF. A scientist has created a ray that makes animals take on the mental attributes of humans. And it can also work in reverse, reconfiguring a human's brain into an animal's.

Poor Clover is the recipient once again, but luckily is only hit by a partial dose of the ray. This means she's still able to speak and is aware of who she is, but has to deal with a number of canine quirks she's unable to control. The results are pretty amusing...and not something that'd be terribly difficult to replicate with hypnosis, I believe. ;-)

First Catgirl Transformation

  • Mar. 19th, 2008 at 3:06 PM
I have a fascination with certain creature transformations, one of the first ones I noticed being a transformation to catgirl. It's not really an erotic interest / fetish for me, just one of those things I think would be really interesting/cool to experience.

aprilcat

The first time I ever thought about the catgirl thing was upon seeing this episode from the second season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 1989, called "The Catwoman From Channel Six," where April finds herself slowly turning into one. My seven-year-old self was fascinated by this idea, and how that would feel? What would it feel like to have a tail? What sort of sensation would fur have? Paws? A cat mouth, ears, etc.? And for some reason, that stuck with me.

One thing I've noticed since, is that I have next to zero interest in people transforming into a complete cat (or any other animal). It's that in-between state, of humanoid creature, that seems most interesting to me. Nor do I feel a strong association or desire to be any single particular animal, as those who identify as furries seem to. I'm just fascinated by what it'd feel like to temporarily be transformed into this or that form.

I've also noticed that some of these transformations can have somewhat an erotic appeal for me, if there are the right elements of control and/or humiliation. Which it turned out, to my surprise when I watched this episode again, this had plenty of as well. For example, as she slowly transforms, her speech becomes slightly inhibited by random meows that she can't control (though the voice acting of it is not very good / kind of annoying). A perfectly humiliating loss-of-control. She also appears to begin having trouble walking upright at times.

On top of that, halfway through the episode she runs into Shredder, who just so happens to have a mind-control cat collar on hand to fit her with. The odds, right? I'd like to have seen a little more of her trying to visibly fight the effects of the collar (maybe try to take it off, and discover she's unable to, etc.), but you can't have it all. ;-)

I've uploaded a clip to share of the episode edited down to just the cat parts, but I have to warn you: have you ever watched an old movie or TV show you remember being fond of as a kid, and realized as an adult that it really didn't hold up at all? Yeah, TMNT is very much one of those series. I was such a TMNT fanatic back in the day, but I've discovered that, as an adult, I'm unable to get through a full episode without *something* making me cringe. Bad acting, bad dialogue, bad writing...plenty of all three.

I'm not sure if the following was a regular occurrence, but in this episode it was some terrible stereotyping of women that got me rolling my eyes in particular. For example:

Don: Well, April, how's it feel being human again?

April: Awful! My nails are absolutely ruined from walking around on all fours!

Raph: *laughs* Yep, she's back to being a woman, all right.

Me: *groans*

Or when Shredder tells Bebop and Rocksteady to feed her, and Bebop throws a mouse in. April screams, and presses up against the other side of the cage.

Shredder: You fool! She's still more female than feline!

Me: *bangs head on desk*

Anyways, I've edited those bits out to spare you, but the full episode is easily found on YouTube if you're curious.

Now, enjoy some transmogrifying:

Her kitty-smile at the end of that clip is so cute. ^_^

Joss Whedon's Dollhouse

  • Mar. 11th, 2008 at 9:49 PM
Joss Whedon's next series is going to be called Dollhouse, starring Eliza Dushku (who previously played Faith in Joss' Buffy: The Vampire Slayer.

When asked by E!Online to describe the series in his own words, Joss explained:

"The idea is those with the money or connections can access this secret highly illegal facility where they can basically fulfill their greatest fantasies. Most people assume that means sex—and on an occasion it does, because that is a lot of people's fantasies—but it's basically scenarios. They can basically reenact scenarios of romance, adventure or anything perfectly, because they become the person that you want them to be—they become that person. They don't act like that person, they are not a robot pretending, they become that person, and then they forget all about it. The problem is the character of Echo, Eliza Dushku's character, stops forgetting. She doesn't completely remember, but she does realize she is a person, and that she might have been a person before she did this, and she doesn't know what that is."

More recent news seems to indicate the idea might've changed slightly, where the "Dolls" (as they're being referred to) are going to be doing mainly secret-agent type things, rather than acting out rich people's fantasies or whatever Joss is talking about above. Though its all pretty vague at this point.

But, hmm...we've got an MC (mind control) theme, and a hint of ASFR...curious indeed...

ASFR/MC Tales From The Darkside

  • Feb. 20th, 2008 at 11:39 AM
I'd never heard of Tales From the Darkside -- some random late-80's Twilight Zone imitator -- until an online friend mentioned I should see this episode called "Mary Mary." It's a story about a shy, insecure woman who has conversations with the mannequin and handful of stuffed animals she keeps in her house, apparently having a strong social anxiety around talking with other people.

The amusing twist is that, when a guy who lives in the apartment next door takes an interest in her (and she becomes a bit interested him), and finally one day drops into her apartment to take her on a date, she's apparently so afraid of making a fool of herself talking to him, that she somehow wills herself into becoming a mannequin rather than go through with it, lol.

Here's a video with the relevant portions of that episode. My friend and I wonder, did she turn back afterwards then, after the "danger" of social interaction had passed...? ;-)

Ah, but that's not all. While looking it up, I discovered a really amazing episode of the show, called "Dream Girl." It's about a group of people involved in setting up a play, and apparently there is something supernatural about the theater building. As near as I can gather, when someone falls asleep in this theater, their dream becomes very real, trapping whoever else they want inside the dream, allowing you to do whatever you like with them.

And I'd have a difficult time being convinced that the writer and/or director of this episode don't have a huge interest in ASFR/MC, because so many of the things done the first half of the story hit a whole checklist of themes pretty dead-on. I mean:

If you'd rather it be a surprise, watch the video before reading this. )

I was surprised...I hadn't realized any show had actually done any ASFR/MC this hot! ;-)

Here's the video for that. Most of the really fun parts are in part 1, but I've included the rest in case anyone wanted to watch the full episode to see how it ends. (Apologies for the crappy audio, but this is the only version I saw):

Cowgirl Transformation (Update)

  • Nov. 10th, 2007 at 6:25 AM
I managed to get a copy of the full episode of That's So Raven mentioned previously, and did up my own edit of the cowgirl transformation (without all that annoying repeating that made those other clips nearly unwatchable).

There's also a short little amusing bit of mind control towards the beginning, for those more interested in that:

Degrees / Context / Permanence

  • Aug. 14th, 2005 at 12:54 PM
Just to warn you, the following entry might deal with a little more heavy subject matter than I usually post here.

The next morning after I posted that RP log, I was thinking a little bit about how some of the interests I talk about here tend to scare me somewhat. They scare me for a few reasons, one being that they seem so abnormal to me, and another being that, in a different context, a number of these are things I'd never want to actually happen to me.

For example, in that RP log (hopefully you've already read it, because I don't want to ruin the surprise ;-)) there's a point where the character has the arms removed from her android body. In the context of a temporary situation that can later be undone, being armless kind of fascinates me. Like, what would that *feel* like? Not being able to feel something that was there only moments ago. The torso feeling lighter, suddenly freed of that weight. The mindfuck of no longer having those useful limbs at ones disposal...and the further mindfuck of perhaps seeing those limbs set down off to the side. Those ideas tickle my brain for reasons I don't entirely understand. If there were a way to experience that on just a completely temporary basis, I would be extremely fascinated to try.

On the other hand, in the context of something permanent and irreversable would be beyond devastating. My arms - and in particular, my hands - mean the world to me. For one thing, art is my life. Being unable to draw is unimaginably depressing to me. Add in being unable to play guitar, or even use a mouse or keyboard...losing my arms would mean losing my will to live.

This is only one such example - there are so many things I can think of that on a temporary level appeal to me in a kinky sort of way...but that if made permanent (or in some cases, if even brought into the realm of reality) would be the worst thing ever.

I was particularly contemplative and disturbed last night, after watching Million Dollar Baby for the first time.

"Kristen" part one

  • Aug. 12th, 2005 at 9:46 AM
So I roleplay ASFR-ish stuff online on occasion, and thought I might start posting some of them here (cleaned up and edited to flow better), in case of the chance someone might actually be interested in reading. My most favorite-est RP partner, [info]adencb, is going to be away for a month or so. I hadn't done an RP in quite awhile (due to my never being in the right mood), but since it'll be a long while until we'll be able to do another, we thought we'd take the opportunity to have some fun last night.

This was actually a little different than most of the ones we've done in the past, which tend to be along the lines of the girl being forced into an unwilling situation where control is lost. This night, we were both in the mood for something more consensual, and it was a fun change of pace. The characters remaining friendly - rather than my character completely despising her controller - meant that I was able to let some of my regular personality show through (as EHY put it: "that 'sarcastic/smart-ass side' of yours is fun," lol).
